NOW OFFERING REMOTE PATIENT MONITORING
Ellen Darnall is the director of our Diabetes Self-Management Education Program. She has earned a coveted certificate of recognition from the American Diabetes Association.
Why Might You Need Diabetes Education, Medical Nutritional Therapy, or Remote Patient Monitoring?
- Obesity/Weight loss
- Hormone production
- Kidney disease/failure
- Prediabetes
- Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
What To Expect From Diabetes Education or Medical Nutrition Therapy
Ellen will begin by completing a quick assessment with you. She will ask you about your life, diabetes or medical history, medication and supplement routine, weight loss efforts, and current diet (including dietary patterns). After the assessment is complete, we will review the education topics that are relevant to you.
Together we will brainstorm ideas to better your health through diet, physical activity, and education to best suit your individual health goals. Every Medical Nutrition Therapy or Diabetes Education session is different because every person needs support tailored to their current medical status, life, and unique needs.
