Telemedicine Appointments Available!

Dr. Myneni, Dr. Tobin, and Dr. Hamill are still conducting telemedicine visits! Running short on time? Afraid inclement weather may prevent you from attending your appointment? Now, you can skip the trip to your doctor and conduct the visit from the comfort of your own home or office.

What to Expect

At your in-office visit, you will receive your upcoming appointment date and time as usual. If you elect to have a telemedicine visit, then the appointment will be made on your doctor’s telemedicine day. You will receive confirmation of your appointment on the appointment day or the night before. At that time, your doctor will send out an e-mail or text with a telemedicine link that you click on to open your personal and secure “waiting room” until your appointment time. Our telemedicine platform is Updox. The Updox telemedicine links will either be forwarded via text to your phone or through your e-mail; it’s your choice.

When it’s time, your doctor will be visible and audible to you and your visit will begin! Visit lengths are conveniently kept to 20 minutes maximum, so please be prepared with your data and questions to make the most out of your time and keep your visit productive.

So…with our ever-changing Michigan weather, you may decide to schedule a telemedicine visit and just know – We at GDI are here for you!
